I know what you mean by having so few outlets. My house was built in 1885 and has very few outlets. My home office which was a bedroom has one outlet. I have a power strip with 7 things plugged into it. Crazy!
It is crazy! I counted and I have 14 things plugged into just one outlet. I need to get some more. Thanks for the comment!
