But but but you just spend lots of money on your audio equipments. Are you going let that go into waste?
Without you, who will fill me in on the hot political topics? I can’t listen to others cuz they are not as interesting as you. (Sorry everyone) I could actually sounded intellengent when politic topic is brought up. SEE. You are very important to rest of us!!!
Break is good. Leaving is very bad. So, please come back soon!!!
I wasn’t going to leave a message here, since I reckoned it was a day late and a dollar short. I couldn’t come close to expressing the sentiments that have come before me.
I refuse to accept that you are permanently leaving the podosphere, so I’ll keep that RSS feed open for you.
In the meantime, let me way thanks for everything from the great shows you’ve done to the opportunities you’ve given to many podcasters out there. I’ve not always agreed with everything you’ve said or done, but who says that has to happen?
Best wishes for the time you take off, and I’ll be looking forward to new episodes when you are good and ready.
No. I know it’s selfish and I should be supportive blah blah blah, but NO. You can’t go. You may not think you have anything to say, but if that were the case, why would we all be listening?
Well, when you shower think of me. And if you want to know why, you will just have to ask the Fat one and tell him I said it is okay to tell you – have a nice break.
‘Fraid I’m late as well. Said it before, I’ll say it again, my morning cup of coffee isn’t gonna be the same. Do what ya need to do bud. After a rest hopefully you’ll come back better than ever. In the meanwhile, we’ll leave a light on for ya.
I’m a day late and a dollar short, but wanted to drop a note and wish you all the best. Like so many other podcasters have said, you have inspired us to start sharing, you’ve brought us together in your wonderful group shows, and you’ve shown us that keeping it simple, clear, and personal is what makes podcasting so fresh, and a pleasure to produce. The Queer Podcasting world owes a lot of its existence to you and your persistence, voice, and presence on the web.
Enjoy your hiatus, and I hope you have the best of new school years. It *will* be strange not having Archer in my ears, or trying to find time to join the group shows, but like the rest of your audience, I will adjust, and anticipate a return in the future.
OMG I just finished this show and I am near tears as well. You have been a part of my podcasting life from the very beginning. You have been a true hero to so many podcasters by promoting them and having them on your group shows. I know that I have benefited from that as well from not only finding new shows to listen to (and to get serious behind on) but also you have helped educate people on so many topics.
I hope the break will be a short one and you will be back again soon.
We’ll miss you like crazy while you’re thinking of new things to say (hope springs eternal, eh?)
I am happy to have had the privilege to sit at the desk of the podfather for a live gang bang. I, for one, will be counting the days until your return.
Gasp! I hope your break won’t be too long, we will miss you. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us and all the time and effort you put into your shows.
Okay! Okay! I am putting the cough syrup down, now put it down Brian.
Archerr, the planet has just wept a tear. I can’t believe you are doing this, but understand it. I will miss you for sure. I think I have heard every show the last 3 years or so. I have loved every one of them. Thanks for the 1,000 shows and your willingness to share your life with us. We have learned a lot from you and all your listeners have a special place in their heart for Archerr. Take care!
PS: Instead of hearing you at night I guess I will have to talk to my boyfriend. He! Love ya Archerr and come back very very soon.
You shouldn’t quit just before your birthday month!
Congrats on 1,000 shows! Though I’ll miss having you on my morning commute most mornings, I understand needing a break. I don’t know how you’ve done it this long. It has been a fun ride. The best part is that we (and the boyfriend and Shane) have become friends as a result of your show. I look forward to getting together more so we can keep up with all your news.
Goodbye Virgina’s rose
May you ever grow inside our ears
You were the grace that carried shows
when Big Fatty Ruined them
You called out to us in Pride48
And you whispered to The chatroom
Now you belong to Podcasting History
And cyberspace-stars spell out your name
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like an 11-hour podcast
Never fading with the sunset even when Ramble broke your record
And your soundwaves will always fall here
Along Podcasting pioneers
Your mic was turned off long before
Your legend ever will
Weekend Updates we’ve lost
These empty days without your voice
This torch we’ll always carry
When Vera takes your place as our new queen
Goodbye Virgina’s rose
May you enjoy all your afternoon snuggles
You were the grace that placed itself
Except when you were fucked off of the bed.
Goodbye to The Boyfriend
From a country lost without your two left boots
Who’ll miss the price checks on Kotex
More than you’ll ever know
And even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you brought us through the years
Thank you for four glorious years and 1000 wonderful shows.
We await your hopeful return.
Ahhhh pod-fading! Noooo!! (= Well do whatever you need to do for yourself, we love you regardless. And I want to say thanks for giving me something to listen to almost every day for the past 3 years. (That is how long I’ve been listening to all you pod casting people!) And thanks for letting me on your group shows once in a while, too. I’ll drop you emails every once in a while to keep in touch. Love you!!
First I am going to be selfish and say my bit. I don’t think you ran out of things to talk about, you have had things to say but it was pretty obvious you didn’t have the energy/desire left to spit them out.
I can’t blame you, so don’t get me wrong! I have been where you are now. I just got tired of the podcast ruling my life.
Once you loose that audience it can be hard to get them back. After all they are gifting their precious time to you as much as you are to them.
I did however miss all the interaction and I got into internet radio as it allowed me a more flexible way to still do what I love, which was music podcasting and have a life on the side 🙂
As everyone else has said, I am going to miss you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much Archerr, really!
So don’t be ashamed to change your mind at some point, have a rest, see how you feel.
I hope you will still be around to talk to on the chat’s and things and you won’t disappear completely because to many people out there you are a friend.
1,000 is an amazing body of work. So thank you for that and the VERY best of luck to you and the BF for your future.
Man, I was afraid this was going to happen! My nightmare came true!
I am going to truly miss hearing from a dear friend each morning. You have become one of the joys at the beginning of each work day and I’m afraid that it just will not be the same without you. I do wish you all the best and hope that this is truly just a break and not a goodbye forever! I’ll miss you tons and wish you much rest during your much needed break!
Jennifer
You have been an inspiration and a mentor to so many podcasters. You will be truly missed. Look forward to hearing from you from time to time. We will keep the tube open for ya.
(((BIG HUGS)))
Gavin
I haven’t listened yet, because it is my daily routine to listen in the morning when I get to the cracker factory. But the twitter is already burning up that you are taking a break.
I’m very sad to hear you are leaving. Like a classroom, your podcast has been my second period class, just after home room with Big Fatty, for years now.
I want to thank you for your solo shows, which have entertained me, and your group gang bangs, which have opened my mind up to politics through an assortment of unique podcasters and guests.
Thank you for helping me when I was starting out. You gave me advice and exposure.
Not breaking tradition, I’ll listen to the show tomorrow, and pretend like tomorrow is just another day. It will be hard not hearing regularly from a familiar voice anymore.
Sigh – first the Qcast boys, now you…
You are ripping my heart to pieces 🙁
Maybe you should just throw away those antidepressants. I am sure all the yawning, the losing interest in podcasting and sex are just nasty side effects to them. Why not try nicotine patches or acupuncture instead?
Ok, I am being selfish. Take a break, honey and relax. Maybe after the first stressful weeks in school are over you might miss us a little bit also and come back 🙂 We will wait for you darling!
Wow. A morning without ArcherRadio is going to be strange. Thank you so much for giving us 1000 great episodes and for sharing so much of your life with us. I have been listening to you since the beginning and you have been a big part of my life as well. It is strange how much someone who is actually a stranger can become such an important influence. Thank you for expanding my thoughts on many subjects and for just being you.
I agree with Arthur and hope that this is a break and not an ending and that you will come back recharged and ready to talk.
I mean it sincerely when I say you will definitely be missed.
You’re quitting because I forgot to send 1000 show greetings, huh? That’s it, isn’t it?!!?
Seriously lovie, you will be sorely missed and we will all rejoice in the day when our Godfather returns. Be very happy and don’t leave us for long!
Miss you already kisses,
Vera
Wow Archerr first I want to thank you for all the time, hard work, and dedication you have so freely given to us podcasting fans. You have produced a body of work that is something to be proud of. Although I was never a big commenter on your site, I truly enjoyed you solos, groups, and and especially, the boyfriend shows. Take care my friend, you DO deserve a break, but please don’t disappear on us! 🙂
Congrats on achieving 1000 episodes! I just can’t imagine getting there myself. I’ve enjoyed every episode since I started listening, and enjoyed being on group shows—even the ones where I was terrible.
I could—and certainly should—say how I understand your need for time off, because I do understand. But I’m not happy about it. Yours was the only one of the podcasts I first started listening to that I still listened to (most podfaded, a couple I gave up on), so maybe I feel this hiatus a little more personally than I should.
Still, I DO understand your need for time off, and you’ve certainly provided both entertainment and inspiration in abundance. I’m just going to miss having the daily infusions of ArcherRadio.
So all the best to you in your endeavours and your real life. But please do make this “see you later” not goodbye!
But but but you just spend lots of money on your audio equipments. Are you going let that go into waste?

I am just starting to feel the orgasm from your podcast and you’re quitting, how dare you leave me in this situation?
Kidding aside, congratulations in your 1000th episode, hope to hear more and hope to have my orgasm soon.
🙂
‘Fraid I’m late as well. Said it before, I’ll say it again, my morning cup of coffee isn’t gonna be the same. Do what ya need to do bud. After a rest hopefully you’ll come back better than ever. In the meanwhile, we’ll leave a light on for ya.

You sounded so melancholy at the end of the podcast or perhaps that was just my feeling after hearing that you were taking a hiatus.
Best wishes for the school year, give the boyfriend an extra hug, and return again when you feel fresh.
its ok to take a short break, Archerr, i will patiently wait for your return, gonna miss your voice & your everyday life so badly.
First I am going to be selfish and say my bit. I don’t think you ran out of things to talk about, you have had things to say but it was pretty obvious you didn’t have the energy/desire left to spit them out.

Say it isn’t so! I’m going to bring you out here to Ashburn for a little “rehab” and we’ll return you to air-ready status!
Enjoy the break – don’t forget to vote during erection time! Loved that story.

archerr,
this is all because of those anti-depressants you’re on for smoking!!
(haven’t u listened to my shows?).
ever since U started on those drugs; you’ve been very dopey and groggy… and suddenly doing short shows, with ‘nothing to say’!
I say stop the smoking drugs now. (after all, a bit of lung cancer never killed anybody!).
looking fwd to 1001. 🙂
